Dr. Ducharme is the author of "Assessment and Treatment of Dissociative Identity Disorder" as well as "Must I Turn the Other Cheek", a book about the effects of premature forgiveness on recovery from sexual abuse. She has lectured locally and nationally on many subjects, including parenting, communication, trauma, cybersex, anxiety disorders, domestic violence, and Dissociative Identity Disorder, and she is a frequent guest on both radio and television. Her weekly blog on WRCH—where she is a monthly guest on their morning FM radio show—provides information on a variety of mental health issues. As Public Education Coordinator for the Connecticut Psychological Association, she is also a frequent contributor to local and national magazines and newspaper articles. Dr. Ducharme is often called upon to provide expert testimony to the courts on issues related to domestic violence, custody issues, and trauma. Dr. Ducharme is a past co-president of the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group that works to help families emerge from the divorce process with dignity and respect.
